Lincoln proximity switch. The Lincoln Quicklub system is designed to provide a relatively simple and inexpensive method of centralizing or automating the lubrication of machinery bearings. Quicklub systems have proven to be the right solution for many industries and applications, eliminating costly, manual point-by-point lubrication. The proximity switch is an optional extra that can be purchased.

The Lincoln proximity switch serves to confirm the flow of lubricant, therefore improving system reliability. The flow of lubricant in centralized lubrication systems can be divided into two types: intermittent and continuous. For intermittent flow, the lubricant can be either oil or grease, while continuous flow is usually for oil, oil mist or air/oil.
