Type UNI drip feed oiler

Drip feed systems also referred to as gravity feed systems, Brands like UNI and ADAMS consist of a reservoir with an adjustable needle that controls the flow of oil normally used for chain lubrication applications with a Lubrication brush.

They come in various sizes from the smallest oil drip feeder.

Material specification 

• pickled brass components. 
• with a regulating spindle for precise drop dosing via the adjustable needle
• Instant cut-off to stop the drip feeder from dripping. 
• large feed pan lid with a plastic dust cover.
• viewing window** in acrylic glass or natural glass
• good visual inspection of the drop-fall sight glass 
• brass dust protection cover – secured by a chain (optional)

Temperature range:

• Acrylic glass* with NBR (standard) seals: -30°C to + 70°C
• Natural glass* with FPM (Viton) seals: -30 to + 180°C

One way to estimate the frequency of refilling a drip feed oiler is to use the following formula.

NOTE:

The oil consumption rate is the number of drops per minute that the oiler delivers to the lubrication point.
